In 2006, my husband and I were in the market for a new home with handicap accessibility and found Evergreen Woods through our realtor. After our initial model walk-through, I immediately knew we had found exactly what we were looking for...We were concerned about all the changes that we required to accommodate a wheelchair in our unit. However, when we explained what we needed, Jeff and Dennis Anderson went out of their way to research custom accessories for our bathroom and our safest flooring options; and then they designed our new condo around our needs. After living 40-years in a multi-level home and raising our family in Mason, Michigan, we felt it was time to downsize and cut down on maintenance. Our age and health were also considerations. We did not want to leave the Mason area and our many family members and friends…After several trips to Evergreen Woods open houses with our family, we determined it was the place for us. The ability to upgrade to meet all of our needs, including accessibility, was what we desired.
